Bella Rose Martinez

Bella Rose Martinez was born on November 16, 2012, in Española, New Mexico. She was small in size, but she took up a huge space in our hearts.

Bella came into our lives when she was just a little puppy. She grew up with us, and we grew up with her. For 13 beautiful years, she was there through everything. She never needed words to express her love, she always knew exactly what to do.

She had the most beautiful eyes, the kind that looked straight into your soul. Her little button nose, her pink tongue, her alert ears, her golden and silver hair, and her warm, soft belly made her the best baby. She was the best cuddle buddy and always knew where she belonged, right next to the people she loved.

Bella loved being with her family, loved laying on the couch or bed, loved following us around, loved food a little too much, and loved fiercely. She was bossy, feisty, protective, funny, and full of heart. She was loyal in every way and loved unconditionally until her very last breath.

On December 26, 2025, Bella Rose Martinez crossed the rainbow bridge and went to be with Jesus and all of the angels.

She was strong. So strong. She fought hard and stayed with us as long as she could. We are forever grateful for every single moment we got with her.

Bella is survived by her loving family: Santiago, Anna, Joslyn, Santos, and Glindia, who will carry her memory forever.

She was more than a Yorkie. She was family. She was comfort. She was love. She was a soul dog.

We know she is free now, running, playing, and watching over us with angel wings. Waiting patiently, just like she always did.
