Charrito Ruiz, beloved companion and cherished member of the family, passed away on August 9, 2023. He was a small dog with a big personality and an indomitable spirit. Charrito, as he was affectionately known, brought immense joy and laughter to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Charrito had an outgoing nature and a confidence that far exceeded his diminutive size. No challenge was too big for him; he took it upon himself to protect our home from intruders of all kinds - even if they happened to be chickens! Many times, we found ourselves smiling as we watched him fearlessly chase those feathered creatures around the house. In his heart, he truly believed that he was a ranch dog.
One couldn't help but be amused by Charrito's penchant for rolling in his bed with piles of blankets. It brought him such joy to burrow himself into those soft layers, almost as if creating his own cozy kingdom. We would often find him nestled amongst the blankets, content and at peace with the world.
Despite facing medical challenges that caused him to lose his eyesight, Charrito's vibrant personality remained unchanged. He navigated each day with resilience, refusing to let adversity dampen his spirits. His ability to adapt and embrace life's twists and turns is a testament to his remarkable strength and unwavering spirit.
Charrito brought immeasurable happiness to our lives with his lively antics and endearing personality. His memory will forever be etched in our hearts and we are happy to know that he has been reunited with his sister Roxy.
Rest in peace, dear Charrito. May he find eternal rest in a world where chickens roam freely and blankets are plentiful. You have left an indelible paw print on our hearts, and for that, we are eternally grateful.
